I love the playground -
I feel so free

To run around
Between the trees.
I can dance
And I can shout.
I can prance
And jump about.
I can swing
The whole long day.

My feet touch the sky -
Up, up, away!

I can spin
On the merry-go-round

 Until I’m dizzy,
Then slow me down.
I can climb,
I never stop.

Like a mountian lion,
Straight to the top.

Ding Ding....

Round 2
In the fight against Cystic Fibrosis.

I am forming a team to participate in this years Great Strides walk for Cystic Fibrosis.

Although my life is hectic and I feel like I have no time to accomplish anything, I have decided to sign up for another CF walk. Our last walk was in Oct 2009 and Ollie's Army raised over $14,000......CRAZY!!!! The CF foundation has been begging for Ollie's Army to return (I wonder why? ;)) and I finally gave in. It is at this time that money for CF is greatly needed. A cure for my sweet OP is on the horizon and the funds are needed to make it possible. This years walk will take place at the Montgomery Zoo...YeeHaw! It will be much bigger and more organized than the Crestview walk (it was the first year for C-view). Most of you have kids that would love an afternoon at the zoo and what better excuse to go than to go and raise money for CF. Please take the time to register and be part of the "Army". If you have any questions feel free to contact me. I look forward to walking and raising money with all of you and am blessed to call you friends!

*To sign up, simply click on the great strides widget at the top right hand corner. This will take you to our team page and there you should click "join my team". It's super easy and convenient.

Much Love,
Lynsey

New Alabama License Plate

Help make the Fighting Cystic Fibrosis license plate an official license plate for the state of Alabama!

In order for the state to produce the CF license plates, 1,000 must be pre-sold by April 2011. For an investment of less than $5 per month, you can help raise over $41,000 for cystic fibrosis!
The cost is $50 & $41.25 of that amount directly supports the fight against CF, especially transitional care for CF patients at Children's Hospital of Alabama and UAB Hospital. Transitional care bridges the gap between child & adult patients and encompasses all areas of need including staffing, space, equipment, and research as patients approach adulthood and beyond. Plus these license plates are a great way to increase CF awareness. Just think of the impact it will make when we have 1,000+ CF license plates on cars driving around the state!

I Need To Smile....

And when the sun is out, I've got something I can smile about.

Although as I sit here and type this, it's freezing outside,
we did enjoy the sun a few weeks ago and took pictures to prove it.

Introducing Aubie and BooBoo. Ollie takes these 2 everywhere.
I bought her Aubie (tiger) when she was hospitalized over a year ago
and her daddy let her pick out BooBoo (pink bunny) at TJ Max a while back.
Out of all the cute stuffed animals, Ollie wanted this ugly bunny that,
as it turns out is a dog toy.....seriously!
Right there on the paw it says "my pet's pet".
Unfortunately at this moment BooBoo is M.I.A. Oooops!

The weather was so nice, we went for a little boat ride.

Family time.

Pop Pop letting Ollie be the captain.

This kid loves some popcorn! Looks like she's guarding it from ShuShu.

WATER!

With such nice weather, who could resist a little ice deam.

You want to see a "little Lynsey", try and take away her ice deam dome. WOW!

Back to reality.....lets figure out what to do today.....inside.
Booooo for cold weather!
